  • This research aims to produce appropriate and effective of educative game for developing cooperative learning of the seventh grade junior high school students.This research is research and development which produces educative game to develop cooperative learning of the seventh grade of junior high school students. In order to know the effectiveness of educative game to raise cooperative learning of the seventh grade of junior high school students, I conduct One Group Pretest – Posttest Design, a research in group with pretest in the start, giving treatment and finished by giving posttest. Therefore the results can be compared between score before and after giving treatment or pretest.Treatment, as the group of guidance in educative game technique snakes and ladders to develop cooperative learning, is conducted in three sessions. The research subject is the seventh gradeof junior high school students. Technique of collecting data is using questionnaire with criteria r count > r table. The results of the validity test questionnaire pointed out that there are 39 valid items. Data analysis usedSPSS 16 with technique Paired Samples T Test.As a result, cooperative learning of the seventh grade students in SMP N 23 Surakarta is on the medium category. The service on guidance of group in educative game snakes and ladders is appropriate, proved by expert and practitioner judgments toward the module in a good category with average value of 88,43. Besides, the result of treatment through statistical analysis brings out significance value 0,000 < 0,05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, proved by the increasing of mean value from 123,97, before getting treatment, to 133,03, after getting treatment.This research concludes that guidance of group in educative game technique snakes and ladders is effective to develop cooperative learning of the seventh grade students of junior high school.
