- ABSTRACT Quail’s eggs is one of the most widely consumed toods in Indonesian. This is because the quail’s egg contains nutrients and high enough benefit so that it will have an increase impact on the level of consumption . Quail’s egg is smaller than the other poultry eggs. Therefore we need technology that can be used to peel the egg shell so the texture is not damaged. One of them is boiled quail’s egg peeler. This research was aimed to design and create a quail’s egg peeler and the parameters analyzed were the effective capacity, the number of damage materials, and analysis of the economic value of a quail’s egg peeler.The results showed that the effective capacity of the framer was of 2,24 kg/hour and the amount of untreated materials was 21%. Economic analysis showed that the break even point was 1212,59 kg on the fifth year, the net present value was Rp 1.851.615,46 /year with an interest rates of 4,5% and Rp 1.680.514/year with an interest rates 7% and the internal rate of return was 34,05%. Keywords: Peeler, Quail’s Egg, Egg’s Shell. ABSTRAK Telur puyuh merupakan salah satu jenis makanan yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini dikarenakan telur puyuh memiliki kandungan gizi dan manfaat yang cukup tinggi sehingga akan berdampak pada tingkat konsumsi yang semakin besar. Telur puyuh memiliki ukuran yang sangat kecil dibandingkan dengan telur unggas lainnya. Untuk itu diperlukan teknologi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengupas cangkang telur tersebut agar teksturnya tidak rusak. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan alat pengupas telur puyuh rebus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat alat pengupas telur puyuh serta menguji dengan parameter kapasitas efektif dan jumlah bahan rusak kemudian menganalisis nilai ekonomis alat pengupas telur puyuh.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kapasitas efektif alat sebesar 2,24 kg/jam dan rata-rata jumlah bahan rusak sebesar 21 %. Analisis ekonomi menunjukkan bahwa break even point sebesar 1212,59 kg pada tahun kelima, net present value sebesar Rp 1.851.615,46/tahun dengan suku bunga 4,5% dan Rp 1.680.514/tahun dengan suku bunga coba-coba 7%, serta internal rate of return sebesar 34,05%.
