- AbstrakKomunikasi efektif memiliki peranan penting pada saat bimbingan skripsi, karena komunikasi yang berjalan efektif menentukan lancar atau tidaknya proses bimbingan skripsi. Akan tetapi pada saat bimbingan skripsi mahasiswa kesulitan dalam mengungkapkan ide, pendapat atau gagasannya kepada dosen pembimbing skripsi karena adanya kecemasan yang berlebihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecemasan dengan komunikasi efektif pada mahasiswa UEU yang sedang menyusun skripsi. Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif non eksperimental. Sampel berjumlah 127 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah non-probability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Hasil nilai sig 0.000 (p<0.05) dengan korelasi sebesar -0.311, artinya terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara kecemasan dengan komunikasi efektif pada Mahasiswa UEU yang sedang menyusun skripsi.Kata kunci: komunikasi efektif, kecemasan, mahasiswa, skripsi AbstractCommunication effectively has an important role in the guidance paper, because communication is effective to determine well or not the guidance paper, but at the time the guidance of a thesis student any difficulty in expressing ideas, opinions or ideas to lecturers thesis because of the anxiety is excessive. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between anxiety in communication effective in student UEU who are putting together a thesis. Research is quantitative consideration for the experimental sample of 127 of the respondents. The sampling is non-probability sampling with this type of purposive sampling. The value of a sig 0.000 (p<0.05) with the correlation of - 0.311, it's a negative association and significant between anxiety in communication effective in Mahasiswa UEU.
