- The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effect of the soursop juice (Annona muricata Linn) in loweringlevels of uric acid (hiperuriseumia) in Sprague-Dawley male rats and to determine the effective dose of soursopjuice in lowering uric acid levels. Preliminary test was carried out to compare chicken liver juice and Potassium oxsonate as inducing uric acid. A total of 25 of males Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 5 groups. Inductionof Potassium oxsonate with a dose of 4.5 mg/200g bw done in intraperitonial. Group I, II, III fruits Soursop juiscegiven treatment with sequential doses of 1.8 g/200 g, 3.6 g/200 g bw, 5.4 / 200 g bw. Group IV, V as a controlgive allopurinol 2.7 mg/200 g bw (positive control) and CMC 1ml /200 g bw is oral. Examination of uric acidlevels performed on days 0, 11, and 18 to evaluate the changes in uric acid levels. The results of this study showedthat the average percentage of uric acid levels were increase namely 55.80% by using Potassium oxsonate whilechicken liver juice of 48.97%. The results of treatment after being given Soursop juice show that the average levelsof uric acid is -7.91% at doses of 1.8 g/200 g dd does not decline, whereas a decrease of 42.01% at doses of 3.6g/200 g mm, and 54.00% at doses of 5.4 g/200 g bw, control (+) of allopurinol with an average decrease in uricacid levels by 65.16%.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan khasiat sari buah Sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) dalam menurunkan kadar asam urat berlebih (hiperuriseumia) pada tikus Sprague-Dawley jantan dan menentukan dosis sari buah Sirsak yang efektif sebagai penurun kadar asam urat. Dilakukan uji pendahuluan untukmembandingkan jus ati dan kalium oksonat sebgai penginduksi. Sebanyak 25 ekor tikus Sprague-Dawley jantan dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok. Penginduksian kalium oksonat dengan dosis 4,5 mg/200g bb secara intraperitonial. Kelompok I, II, III diberikan perlakuan sari buah Sirsak dengan dosis berurutan 1,8 g/200g bb, 3,6 g/200 g bb, 5,4 g/200 g bb. Kelompok IV,V sebagai control dberikan Allopurinol 2,7 mg/200g bb (kontrol positif) dan CMC 1 ml/200g bb secara peroral. Pengecekan kadar asam urat dilakukan pada hari ke-0, 11, dan 18 untuk melihat perubahan kadar asam urat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan, rata-rata persentase peningkat kadar asam urat yaitu 55,80% dengan menggunakan kalium oksonat sedangkan jus ati ampela ayam sebesar 48,97%. Hasil perlakuan setelah diberikan sari buah Sirsak, rata-rata kadar asam urat yaitu -7,91% pada dosis 1,8 g/200g bb tidak mengalami penurunan, sedangkan yang mengalami penurunan yaitu 42,01% pada dosis 3,6 g/200 g bb, dan 54,00% pada dosis 5,4 g/200 g bb, kontrol (+) yaitu allopurinol dengan rata-rata penurunan kadar asam urat sebesar 65,16%.
