- The development of industrialization to made an opportunity to new jobs, and so many women attracted to work away from home. This condition should be anticipated so that their health and family's welfare would not heglected Meanwhile, due to low education, knowledge and skill, they usually work at a factory/industry with small salaries. The objective of this study is to give an information about the health condition of women workers in 3 industries i.e Batik, shoes & bag, leather tannery. The study conducted in DKI Jakarta, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, and Sidoardjo. The total of women workers are 188. Body weight and height, Hb and FEV, were measured.Results showed that the prevalence of anemia of women workers was lower than other similar studies. The prevalence of anemia in Batik industry are three times higher than in shoes and bags industry. The percentage of women workers who had normal or not normal FEV were not different with others studies. The highest percentage of Body Mass Index was found in shoes and bags industris. While length of work, BMI and anemia did not affect FEV of women workers.
