- Abstrak Keterampilan menulis adalah salah satu aspek keterampilan berbahasa yang sangat penting di samping menyimak, berbicara dan membaca. Keterampilan menulis sangat penting bagi kehidupan, utamanya pada era modern. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran piramida cerita terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas IV SDN Sidowungu Menganti Gresik. Rancangan penelitian ini termasuk dalam quasi eksperiment dengan pre-test and post-test design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu lembar observasi dan lembar soal tes. Melalui uji normalitas diketahui bahwa sampel telah terdistribusi secara normal dengan thitung < ttabel. Pada uji-t diperoleh hasil thitung > ttabel yaitu 14,045 > 2,060 dengan taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran piramida cerita efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi. Kata Kunci: Media pembelajaran, piramida cerita, keterampilan menulis narasi. Abstract Writing skill was one of the linguistic skill aspects that is importantly alongside with listening, speaking, and reading. Writing skill is very important for lives, especially in modern era. The purpose of this research was to know of the effective t of story pyramyd learning media use towards the narration writing skill of the fourth graders of SDN Sidowungu Menganti Gresik.. The research design was included in quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The data collection was done by using some research instruments, i.e. observation and test problem sheets. By doing the normality test, it was found that the sample was.distributed normally with tcounted < ttable. The t-test obtained the result of tcounted > ttable, i.e.14,045 > 2,060 with the significant level of α = 0,05. Based on the result, it was figured out that the use of story pyramyd learning media effective towards the narration writing skill of the fourth graders of SDN Sidowungu Menganti Gresik..
