PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS EKSPOSITORI BAGI SISWA KELAS IV SDN KINTELAN MOJOKERTO

- Abstrak Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi menulis ekspositori siswa kelas IV SDN Kintelan 1 Mojokerto mengalami kesulitan. Siswa sulit memahami dan menguasai materimenulis ekspositori. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan ketercapaian KKM dari 27 siswa yang bisa mencapai KKM hanya 36% dalam menulis karangan berupa cerita sederhana, sedangkan yang belum mencapai KKM 64%. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh sebab itu, pemecahan masalah dengan menerapkan model pembalajaraan kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ekspositori bagi siswa kelas IV SDN Kintelan 1 Mojokerto. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdapat tiga tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar aktivitas guru, lembar aktivutas siswa, dan soal hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I persentase pelaksanaan pembelajaran mencapai 100% dengan nilai ketercapaian 71,37. Ketuntasan klasikal kelas adalah 66,66% dengan rata-rata ketuntasan belajar adalah 72,08. Pada siklus II, hasil penelitian mengalami kenaikan, yaitu persentase pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru mencapai 100% dengan nilai ketercapaian sebesar 84. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal kelas sebesar 92% dengan rata-rata ketuntasan belajar adalah 83,08. Hasil pada siklus II telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Selain itu kendala-kendala yang muncul pada siklus I dapat diatasi dengan baik pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperati ftipe STAD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ekspositori pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kintelan 1 Mojokerto. Dengan demikian disrankan agar peneliti lain untuk menjadikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sebagai referensi dalam melakukan pembelajaran menulis deskripsi. Student are difficult to understand and master the material ekspositori writing. It’s indicated by completensi criteria minimum achievement of 28 students who could achieve only 36% KKM in ekspositori writing essay, while not yet reached KMM 64%.One of the reasons was that the teacher still used conventional moel of learning. Thefore, the researcher proposed a solution toward the problem through the use cooperative STAD type to improve the skill of writing ekspositori for the fourth grade of SDN Kintelan 1 Mojokerto. This type of research is action research that consists of two cycle. Each cycle is carried out through three stages: planning, act and observer, and reflection. Data were obtained through observation and test.the research instrument included teacher activity sheets, students activity sheets, and evaluation of students learning outcomes matter. The result of this research showed that in the first cycle, the presentation of the learning process done by the teacher was 100% and the achievement scores reached 71,37. While the class classical completeness was 66,66% with an average of completeness study score 72,08. In the second cycles, the result of the reaserch increased, the presentation of the learning process done by the teacher was 100% and the achievement score reached 84. While the class classical completeness was 92% with and average of study completeness of 83,08. The result in the second cycle had reached the indicator of success and the constraints that arose result, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative STAD type can improve the skill of writing ekspositori for four graders of state elementary school Kintelan 1 Mojokerto. There by it is suggested that other researchers to make cooperative STAD type as a reference in teaching ekspositori writing. Key word: Writing skill, ekspositori, cooperative STAD type
