PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY-TWO STRAY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DI SEKOLAH DASAR

- Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan pada siswa di sekolah dasar, dimana proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru masih belum menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif. Sehingga membuat proses pembelajaran kurang optimal serta hasil belajar siswa tidak mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yang telah ditentukan. Salah satu solusi alternatif yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay – Two Stray. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktifitas guru, aktifitas siswa dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktifitas guru mengalami peningkatan dengan presentase 71,4% pada siklus I, 78,6% pada siklus II, dan 87,5% pada siklus III. Sedangkan aktifitas siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan presentase siklus I 70,8%, siklus II 79,2%, dan siklus III 87,5%. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yakni pada siklus I mencapai 58,3%, siklus II mencapai 75%, dan siklus III mencapai 87,5%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay – Two Stray dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan aktifitas guru, aktifitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Abstract The background of this research is based on observation which is done by students in elementary school , that the process of learning which teachers do does not use the learning model that makes the learning process optimal yet, and the learning result of the students does not achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria. For an alternative in repairing,researcher apply cooperative learning model type Two Stay - Two Stray. The purpose of this research is to improve teacher’s activities, student’s activities, and the learning result. This research uses a classroom action research design and for collecting data techniques are use observation and test methods. The results shows that the teacher’s activities increase by 71.4 % in the first cycle, 78.6 % in the second cycle , and 87.5 % in the third cycle. And student’s activities increase by 70.8 % in the first cycle, 79.2 % in the second cycle, and 87.5 % in the third cycle. While the percentage of learning result in the first cycle reaches 58.3 % , in the second cycle reaches 75 % , and in the third cycle reaches 87.5 % . From these results it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type Two Stay - Two Stray in social studies learning can increase the teacher’s activities, student’s activities and student’s learning result in elementary schools.
