- Abstrak Pembelajaran kooperatif merupakan alternatif dalam pembelajaran yang dapat menstimulasi siswa agar dapat terlibat secara aktif dan saling memberikan dukungan satu sama lain dalam kerja kelompok untuk menuntaskan materi yang dipelajari. Snowballing merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Model pembelajaran ini digunakan dalam menemukan kesimpulan yang dihasilkan dari diskusi secara bertingkat, dimulai dari kelompok kecil kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kelompok yang lebih besar. Proses pembelajaran di SDN Sidorejo 1 Mojokerto, guru cenderung lebih aktif daripada siswa. Hasil Ulangan Tengah Semester menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa masih cukup rendah.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Snowballing pada Tema Kerukunan dalam Bermasyarakat untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V SDN Sidorejo 1 Mojokerto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Sidorejo 1 tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bersifat kolaboratif dengan pihak guru sekolah. Kegiatan pembelajaran terdiri dari 3 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas dan siswa kelas V SDN Sidorejo 1 Jetis, Mojokerto yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar kerja siswa, lembar observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Ketiga instrument tersebut dijadikan acuan dalam penentu keberhasilan siklus tindakan yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Sidorejo 1. Peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan rata-rata persentase hasil belajar sebesar 48% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 65,37% pada siklus II, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 85,2% pada siklus III. Terkait hasil penelitian tersebut, maka disarankan agar guru memilih model pembelajaran Snowballing sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran sebagai variasi dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas. Bagi peneliti berikutnya agar penelitian ini bisa menjadi referensi untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif, Snowballing, hasil belajar. Abstract Cooperative learning is an alternative learning that can stimulate the students to actively engage and giving support to each other in a working group. Snowballing is one of cooperative learning models that can improve student learning result and it is able to develop the students thinking ability. This Learning Model used to finding the conclusions from multilevel discussion, started from a small group then continued to a larger group. On the learning process in SDN Sidorejo 1, teacher tend to more active than students. Based on the midterm test result, it is showed that the average of student learning result is average scale. The aim of this research is to implement the Cooperative Learning Model of Snowballing on the theme of Harmony in the Society to increase the Learning result of Grade V students SDN Sidorejo 1 Mojokerto. This study was conducted in grade V SDN Sidorejo 1 in the 2014/2015 academic years. This study us about class action research that is collaborative with the teacher at school. This learning activity consist of 3 cycle, every cycles consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the research is the teacher and students in grade 5 SDN Sidorejo 1, Mojokerto that consist of 27 students. The instrument of the research are student worksheet, observation sheet, and field note. The third instruments use as the reference to determinant the success of the cycles that have been done. Based on the result of the research, it is determined that there was an improvement of learning result in grade V students of SDN Sidorejo 1. The improvement show that average of learning result percentage is about 48% in cycle I, it is increase in to 68% in cycle II, and maximum increase at 85,2% in cycle III. Hopefully this research could contribute in teaching-learning activities to give the alternative to the teachers to use snowballing model as an alternative model of learning in the class. Next, hopefully it can be a reference to make a better research. Keywords: cooperative, snowballing, learning result.
