PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR AND SHARE (TPS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR TEMA PAHLAWANKU DI SEKOLAH DASAR

- Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru, hal ini terbukti pada saat memulai pembelajaran guru meminta siswa membuka buku paket yang tersedia kemudian guru menjelaskan dengan metode ceramah. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa pasif dan jenuh, serta terbiasa dengan pembelajaran yang monoton pada guru sehingga usaha untuk berpikir kreatif dan menemukan materi sendiri yang di ajarkan tidak dikembangkan dengan baik sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar tema Pahlawanku pada kelas IVA SDN Babatan I Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan test. Hasil penelitian membuktikan ada peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama III siklus, pada siklus I yaitu 72,79%, pada siklus II meningkat 86,02% , dan pada siklus III menjadi 88,97%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu 75,96%, 80,76%, 84,61%. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I mencapai 60%, pada siklus II mencapai 88%, dan meningkat pada siklus III menjadi 96%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada team Pahlawanku di SDN Babatan I Surabaya. Kata Kunci: tema Pahlawanku, hasil belajar, Think Pair And Share. Abstract The background of this study is learning process which focus on the teacher only. It can be seen since the beginning of the leraning process, in which the teacher asked the students to open the material book, the she explained the material using “speech” model. It made the students were not active (passive), got bored and used to get monotonous learning from the teacher. This situation makes the efforts to make the students think creatively and be able to find the material given by themselves were not developed in a good way, so that the learning result in theme “Pahlawanku” to the students of fouth grade class A, SDN Babatan I Surabaya were low. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher and students activity, and also to improve the learning result of the students. The technic used to collect data is observation method and test. The result of the study proves that there is an improvement in students’ activity in III cycles. The result in cycle I is 72%, them in cycle II improves to 86,02%, than in cycle III becomes 88,97%. The improvement can bee seen clearly from cycle I until cycle III : 75,96%, 80,76%, 84,61%. The result of the students’ learning is improving in cycle I until 60%, in cycle II until 88%, and it keeps improving in cycle III until 96%. From all of those description, it is cocluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model, type TPS can improve the students’ learning result in theme: “Pahlawanku” of students SDN Babatan I, Surabaya.
