- Signature identification using manual manner can be tricked by competency of a person infalsifying signature. Improper typical features and physical human limitation will affect interpretation results of a signature. The objectives of this research .are to identity of signature with Fourier transform based on image profile of each signature. For the samples of this research, we collect 228 signatures from 12 persons. The methods of this research are collecting data, preprocessing, feature extraction, identification, and decision. The feature extraction methods used Fourier transform; whereas, its identification (training and testing) used JST. The training was done on the network to determine its optimum perfo rmance. Network test using training data achieve 100% of success. Testing using, original data achieved 97.2%. The system was feasible to signature identification.
