  • A thermo economic analysis was performed to find out how resources are used in a gas turbine plant (Mitsubishi M701 Da), aimed at to investigated the thermodynamic inefficiency, due irreversibility destroyed within a gas turbine system. In this work, we present a methodology of analysis in the area of energy, exergy, exergy costing, thermo economic and a thermo economic optimation is used. A new approach to the combustion of exegetic and economic analysis (Thermoeconomic analysis) for the investigation of energy-conversion processes in presented. This approach allows the monetary evaluation of cost caused by irreversibility’s (exergy loss and energy destruction), as well as comparisons between these cost and investment and operating and maintenance cost for each component of a plant.
