- After thirty years afits application, the Criminal Procedural Code shows a number ofweaknesses in its implementation. The idea to overcome the weaknesses ofthe criminal procedural law, among others, is by rep/acing the Law No. 8/1981 on the Criminal Procedural Code. To formulate a draft Criminal Code. there are some aspects that needs to be considered namely historical, sociological, political and legal issues. Because the Criminal Procedure Code, which acts as a guide in court examinations, involves different sectors ofthe law enforcements, the draft on the Criminal Procedural Code should be a multisector act.Keywords: Criminal Procedural Code draft, considerance.
