- This research target is to know legal status of patient in in perpective of Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 About Perlindungan Konsumen This research using yuridis normatif rmethod. This research conducted by checking book substance representing secondary data by learning and analyze Undang-Undang No.8 Tahun 1999 About Perlindungan Konsumen. The research result indicate that patient position is consumer of service of health. As consumer of service of patient health not yet got protection punish for rights which owning of as consumer especially if happened by malpractice by doctor. The rights for example that is rights to get freshmen, security and safety in gelling service of health, rights for real correct information. downright and clear and the rights to be heard by opinion and sigh.
