ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF SELF-EFFICACY BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES KONTEKSTUAL

  • This naturalistic qualitative research aimed to describe the students’ mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy in Socrates Contextual Learning. The subject of this research was students of VII-J class of SMPN 8 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2014/2015 which was reduced to 6 students. The data of this research was qualitative data about students’ mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy which was gotten by self-efficacy scales, observation, interview, and documentation. In this research, the function of self-efficacy scales and interview to make strong the informations which were obtained by observation. The data analyzed was done by three stages, which were reduced, verified the data, and analyzed of meaning. Based on this research, it could be concluded that Socrates Contextual Learning was dominantly raises indicator of students’ mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy on the dimensions of magnitude/level.Penelitian kualitatif naturalistik ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-J SMP Negeri 8 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/ 2015 yang direduksi menjadi 6 siswa. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif mengenai self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui skala self-efficacy, catatan lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini, fungsi skala self-efficacy dan wawancara untuk memperkuat informasi yang diperoleh dari observasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, verifikasi data, dan analisis pemaknaan. Dari penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual secara dominan memunculkan indikator self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa pada dimensi magnitude/level.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, pembelajaran socrates kontekstual, self-efficacy
