Daftar Isi:
  • This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning model viewed from student’s mathematical reasoning ability. The population of this research was VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo in second semester, academic year of 2014/2015 which consisted of seven classes. The sample of the research was students of VIII-F that was chosen by cluster sampling. The design of this research was one group pretest posttest design. The data of mathematical reasoning ability were obtained by essay test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that the implementation of problem based learning model was effective viewed by mathematical reasoning ability but the percentage of students who reached the mastery learning was only 60% of total of students. Kata kunci: efektivitas, penalaran matematis, problem based learning
