PERBANDINGAN KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TPS DAN TTW

  • The purpose of this research was to know the comparison of student’s mathematical representations skill between think pair share and think talk write learning model. This research population was all students of grade 8th of SMP Mitra Bakti Bandar Sribhawono in academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into four classes. This research samples were students of VIII A and VIII B class who were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical representations skill. Based on result of research, it was concluded that student’s mathematical representations skill in think talk write was higher than think pair share learning model.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa antara model pembelajaran think pair share dan think talk write. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Mitra Bakti Bandar Sribhawono tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran think talk write lebih tinggi daripada think pair share.Kata kunci: representasi matematis, think pair share, think talk write
