- This reseach aimed to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of TSTS type viewed by studens’ understanding of mathematical concepts. The research design which was used was one-group posttest-only design. This research population was all grade eight students of SMPN 21 Bandar Lampung with sample was students of VIII G class which was taken by random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of understanding of mathematical concepts. The conclusion of this research was cooperative learning model of TSTS type was effective viewed by students' understanding of mathematical concepts.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group posttest only design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 21 Bandar Lampung dengan sampel adalah siswa kelas VIII G yang diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep matematis, pembelajaran kooperatif, TSTS
