PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TSTS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

  • This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type towards the studentâ€TMs mathematical communication  ability. The population of this research was all of grade seventh students in second semester of SMP Al- Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2013/2014 as much as 281 students who where distributed into 7 classes. Then, it was taken two classes, that were VII F and VII G class as samples by purposive random sampling technique. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type influences the student's mathematical communication ability. It was shown by gain of the student's mathematical communication ability with the cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type was higher than conventional learning.Penelitian ekperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Al–Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 281 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Kemudian, diambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas VII F dan VII G sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray lebih tinggi dari pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray, pembelajaran konvensional
