- This research aimed to know the increasing of studentâ€TMs mathematical creative thinking skill and self-efficacy who taught by the problem based learning. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 22 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that were consist of nine classes, then obtained two classes as sample that was taken by purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the problem based learning could increase the studentâ€TMs mathematical creative thinking skill, but not increase the studentâ€TMs self-efficacy.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-efficacy siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdiri dari 9 kelas, kemudian diambil 2 kelas sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, namun tidak dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, self-efficacy
