Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis

- This research was aimed to produce student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry and find out it’s effectiveness towards student’s mathematical representation ability. The research subject was grade X students in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro in academic year of 2016/2017. The stages of development were research and information collecting, student’s worksheet prepartion, student’s worksheet validation, preliminary field testing and main field testing. The data of this research were obtained by observation, interview, questioneirs, and mathematical representation ability test. The material and media expert said that of the student’s worksheet development was valid. The result of main field testing showed that the student’s mathematical representation ability that used student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry more than student’s mathematical representation ability that didn’t use student’s worksheet. The conclusion of this research was student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry was effective to increase student’s mathematical representation ability.Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Tahapan pengembangan ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes representasi matematis. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan telah valid menurut ahli materi dan ahli media, praktis digunakan menurut siswa. Hasil akhir pada uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang tidak menggunakan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Kemampuan representasi, LKPD, inkuiri terbimbing.
