  • This is a quasi experimental research which aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model-group investigation type toward studentâ€TMs conceptual understanding of mathematics. Posttest only control design was used in this research. The population was all of eighth grade students in Al Azhar 3 junior high school, Bandarlampung, school year 2012/2013. Sample of this research was student of VIIIB and VIIIC class that was determined by purposive random sampling technique. The data research was quantitative data that was acquired by studentâ€TMs conceptual understanding of mathematics test. Based on data analysis, it is conclude that group investigation-learning model affect studentâ€TMs conceptual understanding of mathematics.Keywords: Conceptual Understanding of Mathematics, Cooperative Learning, Group Investigation
