- The purpose of this study was to design a clove dryer using an oven. This drying system is with a heat source generated from the heating process using wood waste and to speed up the drying process this machine is assisted with a blower to accelerate the propagation of the heat source throughout the room. The technique used in this research is the experimental method. - Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang alat pengering cengkeh menggunakan oven. Sistem pengering ini yaitu dengan sumber panas yang dihasilkan dari proses pemanasan menggunakan limbah kayu dan untuk mempercepat proses pengeringannya mesin ini di bantu dengan blower untuk mempercepat perambatan sumber panas pada seluru ruang. Untuk mengukur suhu menggunakan temperatur suhu Penelitian alat pengering cengkeh menggunakan oven telah dilakukan.. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil pengujian pengering cengkeh telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil pengeringan cengkeh dengan waktu 180 menit dengan suhu 81 C° dengan hasil cengkeh kering. Dari hasil perhitungan temperatur pada alat pengering cengkeh menggunakan oven cukup baik digunakan untuk hasil pengeringan yang maksimal.
