- Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar dasar passing (atas dan bawah) bola voli melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan bentuk guru sebagai peneliti, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, terdiri dari tahap perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Manggis, berjumlah 38 orang terdiri dari 17 orang putra dan 21 orang putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis data aktivitas belajar pada siklus I secara klasikal 7,16% (cukup aktif) dan hasil belajar pada siklus I mencapai 77,8% (cukup baik). Pada siklus II, aktivitas belajar secara klasikal 8,2% (aktif) dan hasil belajar mencapai 83,8% (baik). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing (atas dan bawah) bola voli meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Manggis tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, karena terbukti dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar.Kata Kunci : kooperatif, aktivitas, hasil belajar, bola voli This study aimed at improving the activity and learning outcome of passing (on and under) volleyball through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT type student of VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Manggis in the academic year 2016/2017. This study is a classroom action research means that the teacher is the researcher it was conducted in two cycles consists of stages of planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. The subjects of the research 38 students of VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Manggis, consisting 17 boys and 21 girls. Data were analyzed using the descriptive statistics. The result of analysis the first cycle classically was 7,16% (enough active) and the learnig outcomes achieved 77,8% (enough good). The activity of the second cycle classically was 8,2% (active) and the learning outcomes was at 83,8% good). Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the activity and learning outcomes of passing (on and under) volleyball is increased through the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT type student of VIII A SMP Negeri 1 Manggis in the academic year 2016/2017. The teachers of Penjasorkes are recommended to implement of cooperative learning model NHT type, because can increase to improve the activity and learning outcomes.keyword : cooperative, activity, learning outcomes, volleyball
