- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model konseling kognitif melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap konsep diri para siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksprimental (pre-experimental design) dengan rancangan One Group Pretest - Posttes Design. Sebanyak 10 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Selong dipilih sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen konsep diri dan model konseling kognitif. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat kualitas yang baik pada pelaksanaan model konseling kognitif terhadap layanan bimbingan kelompok pada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. (2) terdapat pengaruh intraksi antara model konseling kognitif terhadap konsep diri siswa yang megalami kesulitan belajar (3) implementasi model konseling kognitif melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. Kata Kunci : model konseling kognitif, layanan bimbingan kelompok, konsep diri. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation through Model of Cognitive Guidance Counseling Group To improve Students Self Concept Learning Difficulties in SMP Negeri 3 Selong. There were 10 students of eight grade of SMP Negeri 3 Selong were chose as sample. Data were collected by using instruments such as: questionnaire about the self-concept instrument, and the instrument questionnaire cognitive model of counseling. Analysis data used a non-parametric method, using the Wilcoxon test and descriptive analysis of the percentage. The results showed that: (1) there is a good quality in the implementation of the cognitive model of counseling through group counseling to the students who have learning difficulty, (2) there is a good interaction between cognitive counseling models with self-concept of students with learning difficulties, (3) the use of cognitive models of counseling through group counseling were very effective to form a self-concept of students with learning difficulties. keyword : cognitive model of counseling, group counseling , self- concept.
