Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah berorientasi Biodiversitas terhadap Aktivitas dan Prestasi Belajar IPA

  • Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah berorientasi biodiversitas terhadap aktivitas belajar dan prestasi belajar IPA pada siswa kelas VII MTs.Mu’allimat NW Pancor. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 180 siswa dan 72 siswa diambil secara random sebagai sampel penelitian. Desain penelitian ini adalah Post-tes Only Control Group. Data aktivitas belajar dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan prestasi belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan tes. Data dianalisis dengan uji Manova satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan aktivitas belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berorientasi biodiversitas dengan pembelajaran langsung (F = 10,680; p < 0,05), (2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berorientasi biodiversitas dengan pembelajaran langsung (F = 25,010 ; p < 0,05), dan (3) secara simultan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berorientasi biodiversitas dengan pembelajaran langsung (F = 14,604 ; p < 0,05). Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah berorientasi biodiversitas, aktivitas belajar, prestasi belajar Abstract This study aims to investigate the effect of the implementation of biodiversity-oriented problem-based learning model on learning activity and learning achievement of science of seventh grade students of MTs. Mu’allimat NW pancor. The population of this study was 180 students while the sample was 72 students which are taken randomly. This research used posttest only control group design. The data of learning activity were collected using observation sheet and science learning achievement data were collected using test. The data were analyzed using one-way manova. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a significant difference of learning activity between students following biodiversity-oriented problem-based learning model and those following direct learning method (F = 10,680; p < 0,05), there is a significant difference of science learning achievement between students following biodiversity-oriented problem-based learning model and those following direct learning method (F = 25,010; p < 0,05), and (3) simultaneously, there is a significant difference of learning activity and science learning achievement between students following biodiversity-oriented problem-based leaning model and those following direct learning method (F = 14,604; p < 0,05).
