  • Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB SD Lab Undiksha yang berjumlah 30 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) aktivitas belajar siswa setelah implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IVB SD Lab Undiksha Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dapat ditingkatkan, 2) hasil belajar siswa setelah implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IVB SD Lab Undiksha Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dapat ditingkatkan, 3) tanggapan siswa kelas IVB SD Lab Undiksha Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 terhadap implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar pada mata pelajaran IPA sangat positif. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA. Kata kunci: Pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media lingkungan sekitar, aktivitas, hasil belajar IPA Abstract This research aims at investigating the implementation of contextual teaching and learning approach with the assistance of surrounding environment as media to improve activity and natural science learning achievement. It was a 2-cycle classroom action research. The subject of this research was 30 class IVB students of Lab Undiksha. The data were collected using learning achievement test and observation sheet of students’ learning activity. The data were analyzed descriptively. The result of the research shows that: 1) the learning activity of students after the implementation of contextual teaching and learning approach with the assistance of surrounding environment as media on natural science subject of class IVB students of Lab Undiksha in the academic year 2012/2013 can be improved, 2) the learning achievement of students after the implementation of contextual teaching and learning approach with the assistance of surrounding environment as media on natural science subject of class IVB students of Lab Undiksha in the academic year 2012/2013 can be improved, 3) the reaction from IVB students of Lab Undiksha in the academic year 2012/2013 toward the implementation of contextual teaching and learning approach with the assistance of surrounding environment as media is highly positive. Based on those findings, it is concluded that the implementation of contextual teaching and learning approach with the assistance of surrounding environment as media is able to improve activity and natural science learning achievement.
