  • Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan gambar berseri terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi ditinjau dari kemampuan verbal pada siswa kelas VI SD Se Gugus Pangeran Diponegoro Denpasar. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan the posttest only control goup desain. Populasi seluruh siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 276 orang. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik random sampling sebanyak 116 siswa, dibagi 58 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan 58 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dua jalan, dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa : (1) hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan gambar berseri lebih baik daripada hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional; (2) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan verbal terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi; (3) pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan verbal tinggi, hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan gambar berseri lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional; dan (4) pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan verbal rendah, hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write berbantuan gambar berseriKata Kunci : kemampuan menulis narasi, kemampuan verbal, model pembelajaran kooperatif, think talk write This research aims at investigating the effect of cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write assisted with serial pictures on narrative writing ability viewed from verbal skill of sixth grade elementary students of Pangeran Diponegoro Denpasar Cluster. It was a Quasi Experimental Research of the Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population was 276 sixth grade students, and the sample of 116 students was taken by using random sampling technique. 58 students were for experimental group and the other 58 students were for control group. The data were analyzed by using two-way Anova and Tukey test. The result of the research shows that: (1) the writing ability of students following Think Talk Write type of cooperative learning model is better than those following conventional model; (2) there is an interaction between learning model and verbal skill on narrative writing ability; (3) for students with high verbal skill, the writing ability of students following Think Talk Write type of cooperative learning model is better than those following conventional model; (4) for students with low verbal skill, the writing ability of students following conventional model is better than those following Think Talk Write type of cooperative learning modelkeyword : cooperative learning model, narrative writing ability, think talk write, verbal skill
