- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media sound slide terhadap hasil belajar IPA ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VI SD Gugus Teuku Umar Denpasar Barat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 273 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yang terdiri dari 96 orang. Data kemampuan berpikir kreatif dikumpulkan dengan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varians dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media sound slide dengan siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional; (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penerapan model pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa; (3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media sound slide dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, pada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif tinggi; (4) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media sound slide dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, pada siswa yang memiliki berpikir kreatif rendah.Kata Kunci : hasil belajar IPA, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan media sound slide This research aims to investigate the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by sound slide media towards science learning outcomes viewed from creative thinking ability of sixth grade elementary school students in Cluster Teuku Umar, Denpasar Barat. Population in this research were 273 students. Ninety six students were selected as sample using random sampling technique. Creative thinking ability data were collected using creative thinking test, whereas science learning outcomes data were collected using multiple choice test. The results of analysis show that: First, there was a difference in science learning outcomes between students who learned using problem-based learning model assisted by sound slide media and students who learned using conventional learning model. Second, there was an interaction effect between learning model and creative thinking ability toward science learning outcomes. Third, for students who had high creative thinking ability, there was a difference in science learning outcomes between students who learned using problem-based learning model assisted by sound slide media and students who learned using conventional learning model. Fourth, for students who had low creative thinking ability, there was a difference in science learning outcomes between students who learned using problem-based learning model assisted by sound slide media and students who learned using conventional learning model.keyword : creative thinking ability, problem based learning model, science learning outcomes, and sound slide media
