- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif group investigation berbantuan media visual terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas VI SD Gugus PB Sudirman Kecamatan Denpasar Barat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 333 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 86 siswa yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data tentang hasil belajar matematika dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes pilihan ganda dan data motivasi berprestasi dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data ini dianalisis menggunakan Anava dua jalan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation berbantuan media visual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional; (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika; (3) pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation berbantuan media visual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional; (4) pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif Group Investigation berbantuan media visual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci : group investigation, hasil belajar matematika, media visual, motivasi berprestasi. This research aims to investigate the effect of Group Investigation cooperative learning model assisted by visual media toward mathematics learning outcomes viewed from achievement motivation of the sixth grade students in cluster PB Sudirman, Denpasar Barat Sub district. Population in this research was 333 students. Eighty six students were selected as sample using random sampling technique. Mathematics learning outcomes data were collected using multiple choice tests, whereas achievement motivation data were collected using questionnaire. The results show that: First, there was a difference in mathematics learning outcomes between students who learned using Group Investigation cooperative learning model assisted by visual media and students who learned using conventional learning model. Second, there was an interaction effect between learning model and achievement motivation toward mathematics learning outcomes. Third, for students who had high achievement motivation, there was a difference in mathematics learning outcomes between students who learned using Group Investigation cooperative learning model assisted by visual media and students who learned using conventional learning model. Fourth, for students who had low achievement motivation, there was a difference in mathematics learning outcomes between students who learned using Group Investigation cooperative learning model assisted by visual media and students who learned using conventional learning model.keyword : achievement motivation, group investigation, learning achievement mathematics, visual media.
