- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap motivasi berprestasi dan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas VI di Gugus I Kecamatan Blahbatuh Kabupaten Gianyar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 149 orang siswa dan sampel sebanyak 72 orang siswa. Data motivasi berprestasi dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner dan data hasil belajar matematika dikumpulkan dengan tes pilihan ganda. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Manova. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi berprestasi antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, 2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, 3) secara simultan, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi berprestasi dan hasil belajar matematika antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD, Motivasi Berprestasi, Hasil Belajar Matematika. This research aims at investigating the effect of STAD cooperative learning model on achievement motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of the student of grade VI Studens of Cluster I Sub-district Blahbatuh District Gianyar. The population of this research were 149 students and the number of the sample were 72 students. The data of students’ achievement motivation were collected using questionnaire and the data of mathematics learning outcomes were collected using multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed using Manova. The result of the research shows that: 1) there is a difference in achievement motivation between the students following STAD cooperative learning model with the students following conventional learning model, 2) there is a difference in mathematics learning outcome between the students following STAD cooperative learning model with the students following conventional learning model, 3) simultaneously, there is a differences in achievement motivation and mathematics learning outcome between the students following STAD cooperative learning model with the students following conventional learning model.keyword : achievement motivation, mathematics learning outcome, STAD cooperative learning model.
