PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT BERBANTUAN ALAT PERAGA SEDERHANA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA

  • Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan alat peraga sederhana terhadap motivasi berprestasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VI SD No. 6 Dalung. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah The Posttest Only Control Group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD No. 6 Dalung Kecamatan Kuta Utara Kabupaten Badung berjumlah 124 orang. Sampel berjumlah 82 orang yang diambil secara random. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda, sedangkan data motivasi berprestasi dikumpulkan melalui sebuah kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan MANOVA berbantuan SPSS 17.00 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan alat peraga sederhana lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) Motivasi berprestasi siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan alat peraga sederhana lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional, (3) Secara simultan, hasil belajar matematika dan motivasi berprestasi siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan alat peraga sederhana lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan alat peraga sederhana berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika dan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar matematika, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT berbantuan alat peraga sederhana, motivasi berprestasi This research aims at investigating the effect of cooperative learning model type NHT with the assistance of simple visual aids on achievement motivation and mathematics learning achievement of sixth grade elementary students of SD No. 6 Dalung. The design of the research was The Posttest Only Control Group. The population was 124 students of SD No. 6 Dalung, North Kuta, Badung regency, while the sample was 82 students chosen randomly. The data of learning achievement were collected by using multiple choice test, while th data of achievement motivation were collected by using questionnaire. The data were analyzed using MANOVA with the assistance of SPSS 17.00 for Windows. The result of the research shows that: (1) the mathematics learning achievement of students following cooperative learning model type NHT with the assistance of simple visual aids is better than those following conventional learning model, (2) achievement motivation of students following cooperative learning model type NHT with the assistance of simple visual aids is better than those following conventional learning model, (3) simultaneously, the mathematics learning achievement and achievement motivation of students following cooperative learning model type NHT with the assistance of simple visual aids is better than those following conventional learning model. Based on the results, it is concluded that cooperative learning model type NHT with the assistance of simple visual aids affects significantly on student’s mathematics learning achievement and achievement motivation. keyword : achievement motivation, cooperative learning model type NHT with the assistance of simple visual aids, mathematics learning achievement
