KONTRIBUSI KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH, KOMPETENSI MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH, SERTA MOTIVASI KERJA GURU TERHADAP KINERJA GURU IPA SMP NEGERI KABUPATEN JEMBRANA

  • A B S T R A K Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, serta motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru IPA SMP Negeri Kabupaten Jembrana. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan ex- post facto. Data tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah serta motivasi kerja guru dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner, sedangkan data kinerja guru diperoleh melalui observasi dokumen dan obsevasi kelas. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan analisis regresi. Analisis data menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, serta motivasi kerja guru berkontribusi secara signifikan dan positif secara bersama-sama sebesar 56,90% serta secara sendiri-sendiri sebesar 46,80%, 36,10% dan 33,40%. terhadap kinerja guru IPA SMP Negeri Kabupaten Jembrana. Demikian pula ke tiga variabel bebas tersebut memberikan sumbangan efektif secara simultan atau bersama-sama sebesar 56,92% serta secara sendiri-sendiri sebesar 31,14%,12,23% dan13,92%. Berdasarkan temuan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah serta motivasi kerja guru berkontribusi secara signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja guru IPA SMP Negeri Kabupaten Jembrana baik secara simultan atau bersama-sama maupun secara sendiri-sendiri. Dengan demikian ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kecendrungan kinerja guru IPA SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Jembrana. ABSTRACT This main purpose of this study was investigating the contribution of headmaster leadership, competency of headmaster, teachers’ working motivation toward science teachers’ performance of Public Junior High School in Jembrana Regency. This research used ex- post facto design. Data of headmaster leadership, competency of headmaster, teachers’ working motivation were collected through questionnaire, while data of science teachers’ performance were gained through document observation and classroom observation. The collected data were analyzed by using regression analysis. The result of this study showed that headmaster leadership, competency of headmaster, teachers’ working motivation had significant and positive contribution all together with amount 56.90% and contributed differently on with amount 46.80%, 36.10%, and 33.40% toward science teachers’ performance of Public Junior High School in Jembrana Regency Those three independent variables carried effective contribution simultaneously and all together with amount 56.92% and differently with amount 31.14%, 12.23%, and 13.92%. Based on the research finding above, it can be concluded that headmaster leadership, competency of headmaster, teachers’ working motivation contributed significantly and positively toward science teachers’ performance of Public Junior High School in Jembrana Regency both simultaneously or all together and separately.
