- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran pemecahan masalah berbantuan media lingkungan dan pembelajaran konvensional yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Sebanyak 80 siswa kelas V SD Gugus VI Kecamatan Buleleng dipilih sebagai sampel. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan ANAVA dua jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran model pemecahan masalah berbantuan media lingkungan dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional (F=40,339 dan Sig.=0,000; p Qtab). Kata Kunci : gaya kognitif, hasil belajar, media lingkungan, pemecahan masalah This study aimed at finding out the differences of math learning achievement of students who were treated by problem solving teaching assisted by environmental media and conventional teaching which was reviewed form cognitive style. The samples were 80 class V students of Elementary School in Group VI in Buleleng sub district. The research then analyzed by using Two Way ANOVA and continued by using Tukey test. The result of the study showed that (1) there was difference of math learning achievement of students who were treated by problem solving teaching assisted by environmental media and those who were treated by conventional teaching (F=40.339 and Sig.=0.000; p Qcv); (4) there was significant difference of Math learning achievement between students who were treated by problem solving teaching assisted by environmental media and those who were treated by conventional teaching on FD cognitive style group (Qob=4.2 > Qcv 5%=3.96, Qob> Qcv). keyword : style, environmental media, learning achievement, problem solving
