  • Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi belajar dan sosial emosional anak, melalui melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kontekstual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, subjek penelitian anak kelompok B TK Puri Gading Kecamatan Kuta Selatan Kabupaten Badung Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014, yang berjumlah 20 orang anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi motivasi belajar dan sosial emosional anak, analisis data menggunakan deskripsi dan analisis. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan akhir tindakan ketuntasan motivasi belajar sebesar 100%, dan sosial emosional sebesar 100%. Ini berarti implementasi model pembelajaran kontekstual dapat secara bermakna meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan sosial emosional anak secara signifikan.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran kontekstual, motivasi belajar, dan sosial emosional This research aimed at analysing and describing improvement of students’ learning motivation and social emotional, through the implementation of contextual instruction model. The research was classroom action research, in which research subject was 20 students in group B TK Puri Gading Kuta Selatan District Badung Regency Academic Year 2013/2014. Data were gained through an observation of the students’ learning motivation and social emotional and data analysis was done in description and analysis. In this research, it was found that achievement of the students’learning motivation was 100% and the students’social emotional was 100%. Therefore, the implementation of contextual instruction model was meaningful in improving the students’ learning motivation and social emotional significantly. keyword : contextual instruction model, learning motivation, and social emotional
