Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi untuk menguji pengaruh etika terhadap sikap seseorang pada pembajakan digital lalu kecenderungan untuk melakukan pembelian produk pembajakan digital itu sendiri Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode uji beda independent t-test untuk mencari tahu perbedaan pembajakan antara CD musik dan software di Jabodetabek. Untuk menguji etika pada penelitian ini, maka ekuitas moral dan relativisme digunakan untuk mengukur etika pada penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan data sampel mahasiswa Jabodetabek, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara ekuitas moral dan relativisme terhadap pembajakan CD musik namun hanya ekuitas moral yang berpengaruh terhadap pembajakan software sedangkan relativisme tidak berpengaruh. Penelitian ini juga menyimpulkan bahwa tingkat pembajakan digital software lebih tinggi dibandingkan CD musik di Jabodetabek &lt;hr&gt; &lt;b&gt;ABSTRACT&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt; This study aims to find out the influence between ethics towards the rate of music CDs and software piracy in Jabodetabek society. This study uses regression analysis to examine the effect of ethics to attitude toward digital piracy behavior and intention to buy digital piracy products. This research also used independent t-test methods to find out the difference between music CDs piracy and software piracy in Jabodetabek. To examine the ethics in this research, moral equity and relativism were used to measure ethics in this study. By using sample data of Jabodetabek college students, the results of this study indicate that there are influences between the equity and the moral relativism of the piracy of music CDs, but only moral equity affecting software piracy, while relativism has no effect towards software piracy.
