- Sistem pengelolaan sampah secara garis besar terdiri dari: subsistem pengumpulan, subsistem pengangkutan, subsistem pengelolaan, subsistem pengolahan dan subsistem pembuangan sampah. Lingkup penelitian ini dilakukan khusus dalam hal subsistem pengumpulan sampah yang merupakan Subsistem terdepan yang berkaitan langsung dengan partisipasi masyarakat yang merupakan sumber penghasil sampah. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam memilah sampah basah dan sampah kering dari sumbernya, yang merupakan bagian dari sistem pengelolaan sampah. <hr> Solid Waste Management system is derived into four subsystems. These are Collection, Transportation, Treatment and Disposal subsystems. The scope of the study is particularly focused on the subsystem of waste collection, of which directly related to the community as waste generators. The general objective of this research is to know the level of community participation in waste separation collection at source between wet and dry solid waste.
