- <b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 1) bagaimana konstruksi kalimat verba pasif -in- dan ka-? 2) Apa persamaan dan perbedaan dari verba pasif -in- dan ka-? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi verba pasif -in- dan ka-. Data penelitian ini adalah verba pasif ?in- dan ka-. Adapun sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Serat Ringgit Purwa I-X. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode segmentasi. <br><br> Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) pola verba pasif ?in- dan ka- berdasarkan fungsi sintaksis adalah [S <=> V ± Pel] sedangkan berdasarkan urutan argumen adalah[P <=> V ± A]. 2) Persamaan verba pasif ?in- dan ka- dapat terlihat dari konstruksi kalimat berdasarkan fungsi sintaksis dan urutan argumen. 3) Perbedaan verba pasif ?in- dan ka-, berdasarkan fungsi sintaksis verba pasif ka- masih menyimpan ciri sintaksis bahasa Jawa Kuno sedangkan ?in- tidak. Berdasarkan urutan argumen terdapat pola P-V-P-A yang hanya ditemukan pada verba pasif ka- dan pola V-P-A yang hanya ditemukan pada verba pasif ?in-. <b>ABSTRAK</b><br> The problems that try to answer trough this research are, (1) how in the sentence construction of passive verbs ?in- and ka-? (2) What are the similarities and differences of passive verb ?in- and ka-? This research aims to describe the construction of passive verbs ?in- and ka-. This research used data from Serat Ringgit Purwa I-X. The method that is used in this research is segmentation method. <br><br> Based on analysis, this research found that 1) the pattern of passive verbs ?in- and ka- based on syntax function is [S <=> V ± Pel], whereas based on the order of arguments is [P <=>V ± A]. 2) The similarities of passive verbs ?in- and ka- can be shown by the sentence construction based on syntax function and the order of arguments. 3) The differentiation of passive verbs ?in- and ka-, based on syntax function, ka- still has the syntax characteristic of old Javanese, while ?in- does not. Based on the order of arguments there is P-V-P-A sentence construction that belongs only to passive verb ka- and V-P-A that belongs only to passive verb ?in-.;
