- [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan ketepatan rujukan berdasarkan komponen surat rujukan dengan karakteristik pasien rujukan instalasi gawat darurat RSUPN dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo bulan Januari-Juni 2014. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada karakteristik pasien yang mempengaruhi ketepatan rujukan yang dinilai dari komponen surat rujukan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah bahwa ketepatan rujukan di instalasi gawat darurat RSCM masih belum optimal dan belum ada data/penelitian khusus yang meninjau tentang informasi pasien rujukan yang terdapat dalam surat rujukan. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap rujukan yaitu : umur pasien, jenis kelamin pasien, lokasi tinggal pasien, penjamin pembayaran pasien, jenis fasilitas kesehatan perujuk, dan lokasi fasilitas kesehatan perujuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di unit instalasi gawat darurat RSCM dengan pasien berupa pasien rujukan selama bulan Januari-Juni 2014. Penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik systematic random sampling dan dilakukan pada minggu terakhir bulan November 2014. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel kategorik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan rujukan, dinilai berdasarkan komponen surat rujukan, adalah jenis kelamin pasien dan jenis fasilitas perujuk., This study aims to determine the relationship of referral appropriateness based on components of a referral letter to the characteristics of the referred patients at emergency department RSUPN dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo from January to June 2014. This study focuses on patient characteristics that influence the referral appropriateness which assessed of the components of the referral letter. This research is quantitative research with cross sectional study design. The problem that occurs is that the appropriateness of the referral in the emergency department RSCM is still not optimal and there is no data / special studies that review of the information contained in the referred patient’s referral letter. Factors that affect the referral namely: patient's age, sex of the patient, the patient's residence location, payment guarantor patient, the referring health facility location, andtype of health facility referrer. This research was conducted in the emergency department RSCM unit with the sample of referred patients during the month from January to June, 2014. The study was conducted by systematic random sampling technique and performed in the last week of November 2014. The statistical test used is the chisquare test to determine the relationship between categorical variables. The results showed that the factors that affect the referral appropriateness, referral letters assessed based components, is the sex of the patient and the referring facility type.]
