- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh pemaknaan di balik kompleksitas kejahatan yang terdapat dalam naratif superhero pada film The Dark Knight. Pembahasan menggunakan teori sintagmatik paradigmatik, teori kepribadian Jung dan teori monomyth Campbell. Upaya Joker dalam membuka identitas Batman dijadikan wacana untuk mengungkap ambivalensi heroik yang dilakukan oleh Batman. <hr> The thesis aims to understand beneath the crime complexity found in superhero narrative in The Dark Knight movie. The analysis uses syntagmatic paradigmatic theory, Jung's personality theory and Campbell?s monomyth theory. Joker's efforts in unmasking the Batman are used as a discourse to unveil the heroic ambivalence done by Batman.
