Pharmacy services in hospital is one of the activities that support hospital quality
health services. Pharmacists in hospitals have important role in the management of
pharmaceuticals and clinical pharmacy, therefore the pharmacist not only requires
pharmaceutical science but also and good communication skills. Pharmacists
Internship Program (PIP) held on September 2th to October 25th, 2013 at Fatmawati
General Center Hospital to understand the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists in
each section involving pharmacists such as The Hospital Pharmacy (IFRS) or the
Pharmacy and Therapeutics Team (TFT) and gave the description about conduction
and implementation pharmacist tasks in the hospital. The purpose of the specific task
was to develop a list of topical preparations drug labels for pharmacy’s personnel as a
reference for the preparation of drug labeling in Fatmawati General Center Hospital., Rumah sakit merupakan salah satu dari sarana kesehatan dan rujukan pelayanan
kesehatan dengan fungsi utama menyelenggarakan upaya kesehatan yang bersifat
penyembuhan dan pemulihan bagi pasien. Pelayanan farmasi rumah sakit menjadi
salah satu kegiatan di rumah sakit yang menunjang pelayanan kesehatan yang
bermutu. Apoteker di rumah sakit memiliki peran dalam manajemen pengelolaan
perbekalan farmasi dan farmasi klinis. Dalam menjalankan peran tersebut, apoteker
tidak hanya memerlukan ilmu pengetahuan farmasi namun juga keterampilan dan
kemampuan komunikasi yang baik. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA)
dilakukan pada tanggal 02 September – 25 Oktober 2013 di Rumah Sakit Umum
Pusat Fatmawati guna memahami peran dan tanggung jawab apoteker pada tiap
bagian yang melibatkan apoteker di RSUP Fatmawati diantaranya Instalasi farmasi
Rumah Sakit (IFRS) dan Tim Farmasi dan Terapi (TFT) serta memberi gambaran dan
implementasi pelaksanan tugas apoteker di Rumah Sakit. Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas
khusus adalah menyusun daftar label obat sediaan topikal RSUP Fatmawati bagi
tenaga kefarmasian di RSUP sebagai acuan untuk pemberian label sediaan obat yang
