- [<b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Kegiatan praktik residensi keperawatan medikal bedah di area praktik keperawatan onkologi adalah memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien kanker dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori peaceful end of life menerapkan evidence based nursing serta melakukan inovasi untuk menigkatkan kualitas pengkajian pada pasien kanker Masalah keperawatan yang terjadi pada pasien kanker sesuai dengan pendekatan peaceful end of life adalah nyeri kronik nutrisi kurang dari kebutuhan tubuh dan ansietas Intervensi keperawatan yang dilakukan berdasarkan pembuktian adalah massage abdominal sebagai terapi komplementer untuk mencegah dan mengatasi masalah konstipasi Inovasi keperawatan yang dilakukan adalah membuat pengembangan format pengkajian lanjut dengan menambahkan delapan komponen pengkajian yang sesuai dengan masalah yang sering terjadi pada pasien kanker Penerapan teori peaceful end of life penerapan massage abdominal untuk mencegah dan mengatasi masalah konstipasi serta melakukan pengembangan format pengkajian merupakan beberapa tindakan yang dapat dilakukan perawat untuk meningkatkan kualitas asuhan keperawatan pada pasien kanker di RSKD Kata kunci kanker teori
