Sistem pengisian format laporan ibu hamil secara manual menyisakan
permasalahan bagi petugas kesehatan, terutama bidan di desa. Segala tumpuan
dan harapan pemerintah dan masyarakat harus mereka atasi secara mandiri, mulai
dari memberikan pelayanan paripurna kepada masyarakat sampai dengan mengisi
format laporan harian, mingguan, triwulan hingga laporan bulanan. Penelitian ini
tentang “Pengembangan Prototipe Aplikasi Message Center Sistem Manajemen
Laporan Ibu Hamil (Di Puskesmas Sekancing Kabupaten Merangin Provinsi
Jambi) Tahun 2013”. Desain peneltian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif degan
metode operational research. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan uji coba
penginstallan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, respon petugas kesehatan terutama
bidan sangat positif, responden dan pihak Dinas Kesehatan bahkan meminta
pengembangan untuk jenis laporan lainnya. Ibu hamil atau anggota keluarga dapat
memanfaatkan dan menggunakan SMS center ini dengan cara yang mudah dan
sederhana. Saran antara lain; perbaikan format laporan SP2TP, penggunaan
teknologi informasi supaya secepatnya diterapkan untuk kebutuhan manajemen
laporan, dan lai-lain sebagainya, pendidikan dan pelatihan akan teknologi
informasi untuk meningkatkan SDM.

<b>ABSTRACT</b><br>
Charging system of pregnant women report format manually leaving problems for
health workers, particularly midwives. All pedestal and hope the government and
society should they overcome their own, ranging from providing services to the
public plenary format filling up with daily, weekly, quarterly to monthly reports.
This research on " Development of a prototype application Message Center
Pregnancy Reports Management System (In Puskesmas Sekancing Tiang
Pumpung Subdistrict Merangin District and Jambi Province) in 2013". Design of
this research is a qualitative research method degan operational research. The
results show trial installation as expected, the response of health workers,
especially midwives are very positive, the respondent and the Health Department
even asked for the development of other types of reports. Pregnant women or
family members can take advantage of and use the SMS center with an easy and
simple way. Among other suggestions; improvement SP2TP report format, use of
information technology in order to be implemented immediately to the needs of
management reports, and so forth-lai, education and training for information
