Perawatan yang tidak tepat pada trakheostomi dapat menimbulkan komplikasi seperti : infeksi luka operasi, obstruksi kanul dan perubahan letak posisi kanul. Pengetahuan yang baik tentang perawatan trakheostomi sangat dibutuhkan oleh perawat untuk mencegah terjadi komplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang perawatan trakheostomi di Rumah Sakit Kanker Dharmais. Disain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, sampel yang digunakan perawat ruang rawat kelas II (melati), kelas III(Cempaka) dan ruang teratai RS Kanker Dharmais sejumlah 107 sampel yang diambil secara cluster dan quota sampling. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dimana ditemukan 80% tingkat pengetahuan cukup dan 20 % tingkat pengetahuan kurang. Penelitian ini berguna sebagai bahan masukan untuk menyusun strategi pendidikan/pelatihan di rumah sakit tentang perawatan trakheostomi. &lt;hr&gt; Tracheostomy is surgical aims to open trachea as tracheostomy cannula access in order to open the upper airway obstruction. Improper care lead to tracheostomy complications such as wound infection, obstruction of the cannula and displacement of cannula position. Good knowledge of tracheostomy care is needed by nurses to prevent such complications might be occur. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge about the care of tracheostomy nurse at Dharmais Cancer Hospital. This study design was descriptive study, the sample were nurses in ward class II (Melati), class III (Cempaka) and Teratai at Dharmais Cancer Hospital. 107 samples were taken in cluster and quota sampling. The results were analyzed using univariate analysis which found that 80% of knowledge level is sufficient and 20% less.
