- <b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Penelitian ini membahas karakteristik dan perancangan induktor tipe E teknik tape winding pada boost converter. induktor yang digunakan adalah tipe E dengan alasan harga ekonomis dan mudah didapatkan. Teknik lilitan yang digunakan adalah tape winding, teknik tersebut menggunakan lempengan tembaga sebagai lilitan. Induktor Tipe E akan diuji dengan menggunakan boost converter. Cara pengujiannya adalah dengan memberikan variasi tegangan masukan, switching frekuensi, dan beban lampu pijar. Dari pengujian tersebut nantinya bisa mendapatkan karakteristik dari induktor tipe E yang menggunakan teknik tape winding. <hr> <b>Abstract</b><br> In this research, the characteristics and design of inductors E type with tape winding technique on boost converter is discussed. Inductor type used is E because it is easy to find and economical in price. Tape winding technique is used in this research. This technique uses copper sheet as coil. Inductor E type will be tested by using boost converter. The testing of inductor E type is by giving variation of input voltage, switching frequency, and incandescent loads. The result of the testing will be able to get the characteristics of the inductor type E using tape winding technique.
