- [<b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Kegiatan serah terima pasien pada setiap pergantian tugas jaga perawat merupakan unsur manajemen dalam pelayanan keperawatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi hubungan persepsi perawat pelaksana tentang fungsi pengawasan kepala ruang dan pelaksanaan serah terima pasien di RSUD Gunung Jati Cirebon. Metode survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dilakukan pada 138 orang perawat pelaksana yang bertugas di instalasi rawat inap. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persepsi perawat pelaksana tentang fungsi pengawasan pelaksanaan serah terima pasien kurang baik. Evaluasi terhadap fungsi pengawasan kepala ruang pada pelaksanaan serah terima yang dilakukan perawat disarankan. Penelitian tentang pelaksanaan serah terima pasien berdasarkan observasi dengan menggunakan interrater reliabiliti direkomendasikan.;The activities of patients handover is an essential element in the management of nursing services.
