  • [<b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Tesis ini membahas penggunaan diagnostic control system dalam mengimplementasikan strategi. Tujuan sistem ini adalah untuk mengintegrasikan strategi, yang merupakan rencana jangka panjang perusahaan, dengan anggaran. Dengan demikian, manajemen memiliki sistem pengendalian yang baik dalam perusahaan dan manajemen pun dapat menghasilkan anggaran yang mendukung tujuan akhir perusahaan. Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus pada sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan dan penyewaan produk dan jasa kebandarudaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telah mengembangkan balanced scorecard, namun balanced scorecard tersebut belum sempurna, karena tidak adanya strategy map. Sehingga integrasi antara strategi dan anggaran pun kurang tepat dan tidak mencapai target ROE yang diharapkan perusahaan. Namun setelah dilakukan revisi, perusahaan akhirnya mampu mencapai target ROE yang diharapkan. Dengan adanya balanced scorecard dan anggaran, diharapkan perusahaan dapat mengkomunikasikan strategi kepada setiap individu dalam perusahaan dengan lebih baik. <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> The focus of this study is the use of diagnostic control system in strategy implementation. The purpose of this system is to integrate strategy which is known as the long term planning, with budget. Therefore, management will have a proper control system and a budget that support the vision of the company. This paper use study case method in a trading and rental company for airport products and services. The results show that company has developed balanced scorecard but the development is not perfect, because there is no strategy map included to the system. Therefore, the integration between strategy and budget is not appropriate. After revision, company finally can reach the targeted ROE. With the balanced scorecard and budget, hopefully management can do a better communication of strategy to every person in the company., The focus of this study is the use of diagnostic control system in strategy implementation.
