- <b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Penelitian ini menganalisis pengungkapan karakter dalam proposisi pada narasi yang dituturkan oleh aktivis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian linguistik interdisplin yang memanfaatkan disiplin ilmu psikologi. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap narasi yang dituturkan oleh aktivis buruh dan HAM, yaitu Suciwati. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis proposisi dalam narasi adalah teori hubungan antarproposisi dari Larson (1984). Untuk menganalisis karakter digunakan teori keutamaan dan kekuatan karakter dari Seligman dan Peterson (2004). Analisis klasifikasi karakter menggunakan teori hierarki taksonomi dari Cruse (2011). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan sebelas kekuatan karakter yang muncul dalam gugus proposisi pada narasi. Melalui analisis hubungan antarproposisi ditemukan proposisi utama dari gugus proposisi yan mengungkapkan karakter. Kesesuaian komponen makna dari inti propoisi utama dan komponen makna dari definisi kekuatan karakter membuktikan adanya ungkapan karakter dalam proposisi. Selain itu, dari temuan kekuatan karakter yang ada, secara umum keutamaan sifat keteguhan hati dan kekuatan karakter pembentuknya menjadi karakter yang dominan dalam narasi yang dituturkan informan. <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> This study analyzes the character in the propositions of narratives which is told by activist. This research is an interdiciplinary study between lingustics and psychology. The analysis was conducted to study the narrative told by trade unionists and human rights, namely Suciwati. The theory that is used to analyze the relation of proposition in narrative is interproposition theory by Larson (1984). The analysis used the theory of the character strength and virtue by Seligman and Peterson (2004). Classification analysis used the theory of hierarchical taxonomic by Cruse (2011). The results of this study found eleven strength of character which appears in clusters on a narrative proposition. Through analysis of the interproposition relationship found that the main propositions of the groups proposition revealed the character trought it?s proposition. Compliance of semantic component of core proposition and semantic component of the definition of character strength proved the existence of a character expression in the proposition. In addition, the finding showed that the general nature of the virtue of courage and strength and its constituent characters become the dominant character in the narrative told by an informant.
