- [<b>ABSTRAK</b><br> Skripsi ini membahas peran Shūmubu dalam kegiatan propaganda Jepang terhadap umat Islam di Hindia Belanda. Shūmubu merupakan sebuah badan di bawah pemerintahan militer Jepang di Hindia Belanda yang mengurusi persoalan umat Islam. Kegiatan-kegiatan Shūmubu banyak bersentuhan langsung dengan umat Islam. Jepang memanfaatkan kegiatan-kegiatan Shūmubu itu untuk menyebarkan propaganda kepada umat Islam. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Shūmubu dalam kegiatan propaganda Jepang terhadap umat Islam. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode penulisan deskriptif analisis dan historiografi. Kegiatan-kegiatan Shūmubu yang digunakan untuk menyebarkan popaganda Jepang dianalisis hingga mendapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa peran Shūmubu dalam kegiatan propaganda Jepang terhadap umat Islam adalah sebagai penghubung antara Jepang dengan umat Islam. <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> The focus of this research is Shūmubu?s role in Japanese propaganda towards Islamic community in Dutch East Indies. Shūmubu was a body under the Japanese military government in Dutch East Indies that deal about Islamic community issues. Shūmubu?s activities directly involved with Islamic community. Japan used Shūmubu?s activites to spread propanda to Islamic community. The purpose of this research is to analyze Shūmubu?s role in Japanese propaganda toward Islamic community. This research is qualitative using historiography and analytical descriptive method. Shūmubu?s activities that were used to spread Japan propaganda are analyzed in this research.
