Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh karakteristik sumber daya air di
Palestina-Israel terhadap pemberontakan penduduk Palestina antara tahun 2000-
2009. Masalah air merupakan masalah yang sangat krusial di Palestina dan Israel,
bahkan menjadi salah satu isu kunci konflik Palestina-Israel. Hal itu karena di
wilayah-wilayah yang cenderung kering, air berarti kehidupan. Eksploitasi
sumber-sumber air oleh Israel menjadikan penduduk Israel lebih mudah
memperoleh pasokan air, sementara penduduk Palestina semakin sulit
mendapatkannya dalam jumlah yang memadai. Penelitian ini berusaha mengkaji
bagaimana karakteristik sumber daya air di sana serta seberapa besar pengaruhnya
terhadap terjadinya, durasi, maupun intensitas pemberontakan penduduk Palestina
pada periode spesifik tersebut.

<b>ABSTRACT</b><br>
This research is about to discuss the impact of water resource characteristics in
Palestine-Israel on Palestinian uprising during 2000 to 2009. As being a part of
the dry-areas, water resource is one of the crucial issues in this circumstance.
Furthermore, Israel water resource exploitation obtained to supply it easily, while
the Palestinians found it more difficult to obtain their need in adequate amounts.
Finally, the objective of this research is to analyze the characteristics of water
resources in this area and find how deep its impact on the occurrence, the duration,
